Laser hair removal
SAY HELLO TO SMOOTH, SEXY SKIN
If you struggle with removing unwanted hair, you're not alone. Many find it difficult to keep up with the time-consuming, ineffective hair removal treatments that they've performed their whole lives in the hopes of maintaining a hairless body. But hair removal doesn't need to be so challenging. I've mastered the process of laser hair removal and stand behind it as one of the best ways to achieve permanent hair reduction.

Laser hair removal faqs
Q: HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED ?
Most laser companies tell us that it will take six to eight treatments to achieve clearance of an area. We have some clients who are happy after four treatments, and a tiny minority who have needed more than eight - but far fewer than you would need to achieve clearance using electrolysis, the only other “permanent” hair removal method.
Q: WHY DO I NEED A COURSE OF TREATMENTS ?
You need a course of treatments because laser hair removal only works on hair that is in the growth phase of the hair cycle, called Anagen. The other two phases of the hair cycle, called Catagen and Telogen, mean the hair is dormant or falling out; so laser doesn’t impact it.
As all of your hair is in different phases at different times, you will need several treatments spread out over a number of weeks to ensure the laser ‘catches’ each of the hairs in their growth phase at some point.
Q: WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE ?
Everyone's pain tolerance is different. You may experience a small but manageable sensation that I describe as a “pinch” or a “zap” when I pulse the laser. Compared to waxing and other forms of hair removal, the treatment has very little discomfort. Stress, fatigue, caffeine, your menstrual cycle and pain tolerance may also influence the level of comfort — or discomfort — that you feel.
Q: WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO AFTER TREATMENT?
Your skin will be sensitive so you’re advised to refrain from hot showers/baths, steam rooms, saunas, swimming pool and exercise for 24-48 hrs.
- Don’t use sun beds on the area or expose the area to direct sunlight at all while having laser.
- Don’t use perfumed products or thick creams for 48hrs.
- Don’t wear tight clothes like skinny jeans or nylon tights (if having your legs treated) for 48 hrs, as they may cause friction and aggravate recently treated skin.
All of the above may cause skin to become irritated in the treated area, it is important that you follow these guidelines to ensure your skin safety.
